Once again, a fire in a nightclub, started by pyrotechnics,\u00a0has killed large numbers of young people. At the time of writing 29 had died from a fire in a nightclub on 30 October in Bucharest, Romania. This awful tragedy is very similar to previous fires:<\/p>\n
Kiss Nightclub<\/a>, Santa Maria, Brazil, 2013 \u2013 242 deaths The Station Nightclub fire led the US government to reconstruct the disaster to see how the fire could develop so quickly and to determine whether sprinklers could have prevented the deaths. The National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST, produced a full report<\/a>.
