BTF, the Norwegian Fire Industry Association, has published statistics on the numbers of sprinklers and water mist nozzles sold in 2024, broken down by residential and non-residential use. Total sales were down 15.6%, partly due to building construction activity falling 7.6%. Despite the fall in total sales water mist sales grew, and now stand at over 20% of the residential market, yet just 2% of the rest of the market. Full details.
