On 9th April EFSN France and the Fire Brigade for Departement 47 hosted a sprinkler seminar in Agen. It followed a morning meeting of French fire prevention officers who came from all over France. The audience first heard an update on the work of the governmental regulatory committees, followed by a series of presentations on sprinkler technology and field experience from France and other countries. There was also an analysis of the Place Vendôme fire, which led to the formation of one of the regulatory committees, and in between the presentations two live fire demonstrations using the EFSN sprinkler demonstration unit.
