The total market was 667,266 sprinklers\u00a0of which 134,288 (20%) were residential sprinklers.<\/p>\n<p>The Swiss sprinkler market also declined in 2015. According to figures from SES, the Swiss fire and security industry association, order intake declined 12% from CHF130 million to CHF114 million. The Swiss economy was\u00a0hit by a sudden currency appreciation in January 2015, when the central bank unpegged the Swiss Franc from the Euro.
