Thanks to the sprinkler system the fire brigade could access the fire to complete extinguishment. The car park, which has a capacity of 1,050 cars, was re-opened after an hour. However, the country has experienced a number of large fires in which tens of cars have been destroyed, many more damaged and\u00a0the car park structure weakened leading to lengthy closures.
