NEN 2077, the Dutch design, installation and maintenance standard for residential sprinkler systems, was published on 15th April. The standard is based on the Nordic INSTA 900-1 standard but with some changes to reflect Dutch building design and construction practices. With this standard, Dutch authorities now have a reference to enable them to specify residential sprinklers in houses, apartments and care homes.
