France 3 reports that a fire in a Super U supermarket in Gertwiller, Alsace, was extinguished by the sprinkler system. The fire brigade was called at about 22:00 on 13th September. On arrival they found a fire at a checkout was controlled by the sprinkler system. They completed extinguishment and ventilated the building of smoke. The supermarket opened as normal on Monday.
