With 600 delegates and over 70 stands, Fire Sprinkler International 2026 broke all records. Over two days we learned about the latest innovations in water-based fire protection, developments in standards and the research behind them. All this was provided in more than 40 presentations and round tables.

Volker Bechtloff, EFSN chairman, opened the conference and was followed by a presentation of the French sprinkler market from Christophe Laborde and Philippe Conus, Managing Director and Director of Vinci Energies Fire Protection Pole, one of Europe’s leading sprinkler companies. Colonel Fabien Moigne of the Brigade de Sapeurs Pompiers de Paris next took us through the new fire protection measures (including water mist) fitted in the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris – a strong start to the programme.

On the first evening delegates networked enthusiastically among the exhibition stands, and on the second 320 joined a wonderful dinner cruise on the Seine, passing the world famous sights of Paris. Below are some photos – see you all again on 21-22 April 2027 in Madrid!
